学級新聞への想い

15年間、高校の教室で続けてきた学級新聞づくり。そのなかで大切にしてきたのは、「今の社会で起きていること」を子どもの言葉でとらえ直すことでした。ニュースをそのまま教えるのではなく、背景や歴史、そこで生きる人の気持ちにまで想像を広げながら、一緒に考える――そんな時間を、紙面を通してつくってきました。

このサイトでは、教室の外にもその学級新聞を届けます。時事問題を、難しい専門用語ではなく、子どもにも保護者にも伝わることばで解説し、「授業でどう扱えるか」「家庭でどんな会話ができるか」のヒントも添えて発信していきます。ニュースを「ただ不安になるための情報」ではなく、「明日を生きる力」に変えていくお手伝いができればと思います。
