このブログについて

「今送りたい、学級新聞」は、15年間の教師生活の中で積み重ねてきた実践と失敗、そして子どもたちとの対話から生まれた、時事問題ブログです。日々のニュースを、教室でどう扱うか。どこまで伝えるか。何を一緒に考えるのか。その悩みと試行錯誤を土台に、「もし今も教室にいたら、こう伝えたい」という視点で記事を書いています。教育現場の先生方はもちろん、保護者の方、ニュースに向き合いたい中高生にも、「学級新聞」をヒントにした読み解き方を届ける場でありたい――そんな思いで運営しています。

今送りたい学級新聞

15年間、小学校・中学校で教壇に立ちながら、子どもたちと一緒に作り続けてきたのが「学級新聞」です。ニュースをただ写すのではなく、自分たちの目で確かめ、言葉で整理し、友だちに伝える――その過程こそが、子どもたちの「考える力」と「対話する力」を育ててくれました。このブログでは、教室で生まれたそんな学級新聞の知恵や工夫を、今の社会を生きるすべての人と分かち合いたいと思っています。時事問題を、難しくなく、しかしごまかさず、子どもにも大人にも届く言葉で届ける。そのためのヒントや実例を綴っていきます。

新聞づくりの裏側

学級新聞は、きれいに印刷された一枚だけでは語り切れません。ニュースを選ぶ基準、事実と意見の分け方、子どもたちから飛び出した鋭い質問、そして「これはまだ教室には早いかもしれない」と悩んだテーマ……。ここでは、そんな裏側のストーリーや、見出しの付け方・レイアウトの工夫、発行を続けるためのマイルールなど、実際の現場で培ったポリシーを、肩の力を抜いて紹介していきます。学級通信や学校だよりを作る方のヒントにもなればうれしいです。
